“Engineering Internships in Hannover and Clausthal” is an 8-week short term program designed for engineering students who wish to do a research-oriented visit or an internship in Germany. The research/internship will be accompanied by a language course and a cultural program. The program will be conducted in English.

At LUH and CUT students of engineering are given the possibility to do an internship or a short-term research visit. In general this is possible for all fields of engineering, but the focus within this program is on mechanical engineering. Nevertheless, applicants from other fields of engineering are very welcome too! Applicants for a short term research oriented stay are going to be matched with the corresponding research lab, department or a particular professor. You can either apply by explaining your research interest and we will place you in a suitable department on the basis of your description. Or you can also apply for a proposal offered by one of the departments (consult the application page).

You will be working individually or in small groups. You will also have a personal supervisor, who will support and speed up your integration into the research groups, into the departments and into social life in general.

Working hours range from Monday to Friday depending on the official working hours of the respective department. However, two (late) afternoons per week are scheduled for participation in a language course and a regular discussion forum.

Other program components are a German course, excursions and leisure time activities.
