Home DAAD Program: Put Germany on Your Resume!

Overview

Students will participate in research (about 30h per week), are going to take German language classes (5h per week) and an intercultural training, and will have to write a project thesis about their work topic including a final presentation at the end of program term.

The first week of the program is dedicated to a five-day orientation period before internship is to begin officially. During orientation students will be provided with an introduction to life in Germany (intercultural training), opportunities to network, become familiar with all aspects of the campus life, and take language proficiency tests.

The participants are going to work individually or in small research groups over the 11-week period. A personal supervisor will foster immersion into university departments, a "Study-Buddy" will accompany them during their stay, specifically for the first few days in Germany (pick up-service from the airport/train station, introduction into your living area e.g.).

All aspects of the program are conducted in English.
