The engineering internship/research stay in Clausthal/Hannover will be acknowledged as part of the curriculum at Purdue University. Purdue students have to do a research orientated project. The proposed program matches the requirements for the mechanical engineering project at Purdue University which is part of the curriculum of the BSME degree as well as the requirements for the Global Engineering Studies Minor. The credits for these programs may also be obtained at CUT and LUH by participating in this program. Purdue students will receive 6 credits for this program in mechanical engineering.
Students from any other university should make sure that credits earned at LUH or CUT will be transferred back to their home university and will be counted towards/for their degree.
We recommend ascertaining the transfer of credits prior to your departure. Please let us know whether you require a transcript.
The weekly workload of this program includes 28 hours of research work, 8 hours of language lessons and 4 hours of round table meetings with the other participants.
