The International Cost of Living Table 2007/2008 compares prices in countries all around the world and shows that Germany comes eleventh in the ranking; compared with European Union countries only, Germany takes seventh place. This means that life in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Ireland, France and Britain is more expensive than here.
